JOSH'S NOTES - 2018 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
The 2018 vintage is proving to become one of my all time favorite growing seasons and this wine is the reason why. Our new Cabernet Sauvignon, formerly known as the "Flying B", is driven aromatically with red fruit - bright raspberry, fresh strawberries, and is followed by ultra pretty hints of perfumed lavender, sage, and herbs de Provence. The palate has rich, chewy tannins, loads of length, is well balanced and everything that I love about simply pure great Cabernet. I think this is easily the best Bledsoe Family Winery Cabernet Sauvignon we have made yet. Drink now through 2035!
JOSH'S NOTES - 2018 STOLEN HORSE SYRAH
I believe this Syrah is a staff favorite of ours and I couldn't agree more. Hedonistic, this wine jumps out of the glass with blue and black fruits, lots of smoked meat and wild game, menthol, and a small touch of minerality. This wine was aged in concrete, 500L puncheons, and small French oak barrels for 17 months. Balance, richness, immediate gratification but with enough stuffing to age gracefully. The wine is fresh and alive on your palate - a great representation of three very distinct Syrah sites blended together. Very fun to watch our Stolen Horse vintages get better and better.
