JOSH'S NOTES - 2025 Bledsoe Family Elizabeth Chardonnay
This new vintage of Elizabeth is showing off aromatically. Coming from our estate vineyard, Coulee, in the Eola-Amity Hills, the diversity of the vineyard is evident in the glass. Lots of citrus - lemons, limes, even hints of grapefruit. There is a pretty sense of green apple, and the tiniest hint of straw. The palate is juicy, has tons of energy, fresh, and is screaming for food or warm weather, or both!

JOSH'S NOTES - 2023 Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon
What a beautiful vintage of Doubleback. This growing season in 2023 was warm and generous. Inky colored wines show off juicy red fruit, fresh ripe blackberry, sage brush, and toasty young French oak. The way this wine feels is incredible with textural pleasure, rich, chewy, ripe tannin, with a long finish. This wine is showing off now in its youth but does not sacrifice its ability to go the distance. Decant now if pulling a cork, otherwise drink 2028 through 2045.

BARREL/AGING PROGRAM
22 months in 57% new French oak and 43% neutral French oak barrels, oak Foudre, and concrete tulips
This area has a unique way of handling a warm vintage, as in 2023, and still possessing a lot of energy in the wine. Loamy earth, licorice, surrounding forest, clove, and wafts of blue fruit shine through on this wine that evolves rapidly. There is great energy to the wine with building tannins that are rich. I tasted over three days and the wine continued to get better and better.
