Our favorite comment to receive after we started making Elizabeth is “I didn’t think I liked Chardonnay but I love Elizabeth!”—we never tire of hearing that! A single vineyard Chardonnay from three different Burgundian clones and picked very early—the 2019 Elizabeth Chardonnay is hands down my favorite that we have made yet. Aromatically entrancing with white pear and the slightest hints at different times of lemon zest, tropical aromas, and the tiniest whiff of whipped cream. This new wine is pale yellow with a small tinge of green shining through. Ultra- balanced with everything in harmony—fantastic acidity, fullness, length, depth, and energy. I see myself drinking a lot of this wine in the coming months!”
