A perfect wine to welcome in fall, winter, and the holidays. Red rope licorice (like my childhood watching a baseball game), smoked meats, menthol, and perfectly ripe plums. The wine may come in uncommon packaging, but it is not an unserious wine. Rich, long, soft up front but with building tannin. This is fantastic for grilling, cooking prime rib, or just sitting by a fire with your family this winter. Enjoy!
